The Flint Hills Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation

We are a 100% volunteer organization that raises funds to put back into the Flint Hills community.  We donate to support youth hunting trips, youth education days about conservation and safe and ethical hunting practices, Hunter's Safety program, an Archery Club, a Trap Club, Veteran's Fishing Derby, and much much more.  We partner with the local conservation district in their conservation efforts, and lend out planting equipment to our members.

The Headwaters Trap Range is a place for shooters of all skill levels and abilities to compete and practice in a safe and organized environment!  They hosted their very first ground breaking shoot in August 2019.  We are excited for all the things coming down the pike as this group gears up for the 2020 season!

About us

The Flint Hills Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation is a 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on education and conservation of the outdoors, hunter education, and getting youth involved and educated about their opportunities as outdoors-man/women. We sponsor several events put on by other non-profit groups throughout the year, such as a fishing derby for veterans in conjunction with a youth fishing derby, a water conservation and safety day for surrounding area fourth graders, habitat conservation tree project, Hunter's Safety Education Day, donations to a Veteran ran and Veteran serving hunting organization, and so much more! Our group is 100% volunteer ran, and uses fundraising as our way to be able to give back.
